Biography
Nuria joined BMC in 2024 after completing her dual degree in Business Administration and Law at the Universidad de Murcia. With two years of experience, she supports the tax team in meeting the tax obligations of a growing portfolio of SME clients.
Her daily work includes preparing and filing quarterly VAT and personal income tax returns, preparing annual forms 200, 202, 347, and 390, and supporting the preparation of annual accounts in coordination with the accounting team. The combination of her legal and business training allows her to understand both the regulatory logic behind each obligation and its impact on the company’s financial management, which facilitates communication with clients about the practical meaning of each return.
The tax compliance work that Nuria carries out is the foundation of the tax service BMC provides to its SME clients. Filing each form on time and in the correct format is a non-negotiable requirement, and the precision and organisation with which she approaches this work ensure that the clients in her portfolio do not face surcharges, demands, or penalties for formal non-compliance.
Nuria is progressing quickly within the tax area. She is expanding her knowledge of corporation tax, with particular attention to the deductions available to smaller companies and to planning instalment payments. She is also developing her understanding of the tax treatment of special operations — contributions of business branches, share exchanges, mergers — which frequently affect the SMEs in BMC’s portfolio when they go through restructuring processes.
Her rigour and organisational ability, tested during a demanding dual degree, are qualities already reflected in the quality and punctuality of her work. She speaks Spanish. The Universidad de Murcia is recognised for the strength of its Law faculty and its Law-Business dual degree, which produces professionals with an integrated legal-financial perspective that is particularly useful in tax advisory work.
